Men's Winter League - midway update

As we pass the midpoint of the Men's Winter League campaigns, Men's Captain Ronan Donovan brings us up to speed on how our three teams are faring.

Class 1
Won 1; Lost 2. Great win in Round 3 vs. Portmarnock and prior to that losses against strong Malahide and Riverview sides. At present we sit in the lower half of our group although not facing relegation but its important we push on for the remaining fixtures and accumulate as many points as possible. Next fixture Home vs. Fitz #1.

Class 3 Same story for Class 3. Won 1; Lost 2 and no threat of relegation. Some very competitive matches so far and both losses could have been reversed as we have gone down in 3-sets in tight matches. Two big results to finish could push for playoffs. Next fixture Home vs. Naas #2.

Class 4
After a strong start for Class 4, we also sit Won 1; Lost 2. Again some very competitive matches thus far, especially impressive given the large panel of players who have been involved in this team and two big winning margins to finish might see a playoff push. Next fixture Away vs. Castleknock #3.
